The RPU-120+ covers the same temperature range as its predecessor, but with greater accuracy and longer recording time. Employing the same third generation technology as the RPU-352 the RPU120+ offers industry-leading accuracy. The RPU-120+ is built to Redpost’s traditional standards of ruggedness and durability.

The RPU-120+ is a special purpose electronic temperature recorder designed to monitor the tunnel pasteurisation process. The instrument passes through the pasteuriser with the product and after the run the PU value achieved, together with several other important results, is calculated automatically. Standard results calculated are: total PUs achieved, time accumulating PUs, time in holding zone, maximum temperature etc. The temperature sensor reading is shown continuously allowing the unit to be used as a thermometer.

Redpost’s latest series of monitors prevents product spoilage by calculating the temperature of the product when it leaves the pasteuriser, this exit temperature is shown with the other results.

Results are displayed on the instrument allowing immediate confirmation of correct pasteurisation, the display can show graphs and lists of recorded data before the data is printed or transferred.

The RPU-120+ is compatible with Redpost’s popular RPC-80 and RPC-50 printer/chargers. With these, reports can be printed or the data can be transferred to a computer for storage and further analysis. The RPU-120+ is also backwards compatible with the RPC-40, RPC-42 and RPC-44. This allows the instrument to compliment your existing equipment without the need to purchase a new printer/charger.

The controls are simple and the display shows operating prompts and results in a choice of languages. Many functions of the equipment can be configured to suit particular requirements. All settings are protected to prevent operators making accidental changes to the configured settings.

Calibration details can be held in the instrument to aid record keeping for ISO 9000. A service reminder gives the operator a notification when a service should be considered.

Redpost PU recorders are offered with a range of temperature probes for both bottles and cans, spray water temperature probes, mounting frames, and test plugs for on-site checking of calibration. Instruments and probes are calibrated at time of manufacture against standards traceable to U.K National Standards.
