Introducing Bradken’s GETVision solution

Bradken’s GETVision solution improves productivity and onsite safety, reduces unplanned production downtime, and prevents downstream machinery downtime.

Bradken’s GETVision loss detection and wear monitoring modules deliver real-time updates on GET components – points, adaptors, lips and shrouds with immediate loss detection alerts and monitoring capabilities.

GETVision comprises of a ruggedised high-resolution camera for vision-based monitoring, supported by an enhanced AI (artificial intelligence) machine-learning system that delivers reliable GET loss detection on all GET components for hydraulic shovels and excavators.

Bradken’s vision-based loss detection system delivers

  • Improved sustainability: planned tooth replacement at optimal timing reduces wastage, improving sustainability goals. Reduction in tooth replacement results in reduction in transport and manufacturing inputs.
  • Improved productivity: reduce unscheduled maintenance downtime. Monitor dig cycle to maximise operational requirements and sustainability goals.
  • Operational efficiency: improves maintenance planning. Monitors wear changes on points, enabling analysis to identify change-out timing and reduce unscheduled maintenance downtime.
  • Improved safety: improved site safety with remote monitoring capability. Reduction in maintenance teams entering hazardous zones for monitoring and lost tooth collection in primary crushing operations.
  • Improved maintenance: undetected GET loss can cause substantial downstream equipment damage.
  • Alerts:
    • Point and adaptor loss detection: identifies and alerts partial or full loss during operation.
    • Lip and wing shroud loss detection: identifies and alerts partial or full loss during operation.
  • Point wear monitoring: monitors wear changes on points, enabling analysis to identify change-out timing and reduce unscheduled maintenance downtime.
