Australian Mining is currently inviting editorial contributions and stroy ideas for its Hunter Valley Spotlight feature coming up in the April edition.
The Hunter Valley of New South Wales has been one of Australia’s largest coal producing regions over the last half century, and continues to be one of the world’s great mineral export regions.
The Hunter has long been recognised as the heartland of New South Wales’ minerals industry.
Australian Mining will look at any recent developments as well as the impact the recent global financial downturn has had on the region.
This feature will also examine the events that led to the most recent boom, which has seen world demand for coal outstrip supply.
Please send editorial to ozmining@reedbusiness.com.au by Friday 20 March.
