GR Engineering has won a $16 million contract at Saracen Minerals' Carosue Dam project.
The project, which starts immediately, will see the contractor provide engineering, procurement and construction services for the miner's tertiary crushing project.
It is scheduled for completion in the last quarter of the year, and is a key part of Saracen's development plan to expand the Carosue Dam process plant throughput capacity to 3.2 million tonnes per annum.
Joe Ricciardo, GR's managing director, said the company "is please to have been awarded the EPC contract for the Carosue Dam Tertiary Crusher project. It is particularly pleasing given that most of our senior personnel were previously responsible as JR Engineering for the original design and construction of the very successful Carosue Dam gold processing facility in 2000/01".
