QME 2014 Preview: Tyco Fire and Security brands join for integrated site safety

Tyco Fire and Security brands Wormald and ADT Security will joint to exhibit and educate on mining fire safety and security at QME.

"The complexities and dangers of the mining industry create complex fire safety and security requirements," Tyco Integrated Fire & Security's regional manager for QLD and the NT, Sjef Klaassen explained.

"By bringing our specialised fire and security expertise ( of Wormald and ADT) together under the Tyco Integrated Fire & Security banner we can provide the mining industry with cohesive end-to-end solutions," he said.

"In today's volatile mining environment it is critical that QLD and the NT mine operators implement rigorous fire and security solutions to protect assets and staff from costly and sometimes fatal environmental, health, and safety (EHS) risks.

"Our team of fire and security experts will be on hand at QME to discuss how the latest innovations in fire protection and security systems can help mine operators streamline their fire and security planning, installation, and maintenance activities.
