Enerpac launches new pneumatic torque wrenches

Enerpac has introduced a new range of tough pneumatic torque wrenches to its global family of controlled bolting solutions.

Enerpac’s pneumatic torque wrenches combine optimum safety and simple operation with excellent reliability, and are available in maximum torque capacities of 1356-8135 Nm. Designed to optimise service life and minimise downtime, the square drive wrenches incorporate low-friction planetary gearboxes to reduce wear and extend uptime.

Delivered with a calibration certificate to ensure accuracy and safety, the CE certified torque wrenches complement the full global Enerpac ranges of controlled bolting solutions for joint assembly, controlled tightening and separation. Spanning mechanical, pneumatic, electrical and high-pressure hydraulic 700 bar technologies, Enerpac’s range includes hexagonal and square drive torque wrenches, tensioners and complementary solutions-based technologies.

Enerpac Bolting Product Manager Andrew Marsh explains that the pneumatic torque wrenches will be especially suited to workshop tasks and on-site applications due to their cost-efficient, simple and rapid high speed continuous rotation operation using standard factory and mobile compressors generally found in various industries.

The new pneumatic torque wrenches are backed by the proven Enerpac service and distribution network accessed through global, national and local resources. Enerpac’s extensive network of service centre operations is complemented by local Enerpac Territory Managers. According to Mr Marsh, Enerpac’s one-stop, solutions-based approach is highly valued by companies that are looking to save time, and ensure consistency of quality and traceability of outcomes.
