Australian Mining Movember: You decide

As Movember rolls along we're letting you know how mining is supporting the cause, and let you decide on the Editor's mo.

With the majority of the mining workforce male, the issue of prostate cancer is a serious one for the industry.

Recognising this, many in the industry have taken steps to raise awareness of prostate cancer, as well as breast cancer.

Each year the Australian mining industry takes part in the Mining Challenge for Movember, and at the time of publication had already raised more than $400 000.

There are close to 20 teams from the Australian mining industry competing to raise money and awareness, including Thiess, Downer EDI, Swick Mining Services, Newcrest, Redpath, Brockman Mining, the F Crew at Curragh, and many more.

The crew here at Australian Mining are also raising awareness, and letting you decide on the editor's mo.

So choose from the pic and enter it into the poll below or comment on the article and he'll be shaving the beard he's grown out into the most popular choice. (Please note: No Hitler moustaches).
