T.W. Woods has completed a multi-million dollar upgrade to its Tomago facility in NSW to enhance its services to the global coal and ore handling markets.
The company, which manufactures a range of mining technology and equipment, says the development will expand capacity and allow the business to maintain high quality control.
The new facility includes a 400sq/m plate processing facility and incorporates technology to handle carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminium. It also houses a handling facility that is serviced by a 10t overhead gantry crane.
According to the company, the re-development provides space and resources to facilitate further expansions in the future.
