A COUPLING manufacturer has introduced a new range of CD couplings.
The couplings provide zero backlash and high torsion stiffness required for high reverse load and positioning applications.
The product is manufactured from Reduction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) compliant materials, and contains no banned substances.
The couplings are designed with clamp style hubs for increased torque capacity on shafts, without using keyways.
The products can handle system speeds up to 17,000 rpm and have torque ratings up to 10,666 Nm.
System designers can select from combinations of metric hub bore sizes to meet drive requirements.
The range is suitable for most high precision applications. A free brochure with ordering information, and a new CD ROM with sizing and selection software, is included.
