Boost to training benefits

THE Australian Government has announced a new list determining the eligibility of employers and their Australian Apprentices for a range of Australian Government incentives.

Federal Minister for Vocational and Further Education Andrew Robb launched the National Skills Needs List (NSNL), replacing the Migration Occupations in Demand List (MODL).

“Nearly 300,000 apprentices across those 55 trades will benefit from these incentives over the next four years,” Robb said.

Seventeen new trades have been included in the list, as of 1 July 2007.
