Bestech Australia welcomes new CEO

Bestech Australia has announced the appointment of Ani Chakraborty as the company’s new chief executive officer (CEO).

Chakraborty brings a distinguished career in engineering and management to the role, including past positions at major companies such as Samsung, McKinsey, and Hastings Funds Management.

This appointment comes at a critical juncture for the company following Redwood North’s investment, aimed at enhancing Bestech Australia’s position in the market.

Bestech Australia said Chakraborty’s expertise will be pivotal in steering the company towards expanding its market presence and enhancing its portfolio of high-quality solutions for test and measurement applications in research and development, process automation, manufacturing, and educational engineering systems.

“We are excited to have Ani Chakraborty lead our team,” Bestech Australia chair and Redwood North managing director Daniel Belcher said. “His vision and expertise will be instrumental in achieving our strategic goals and serving our clients with excellence.”

Chakraborty will replace former CEO and founder Sanjiv Bhasin who will be leaving the role after 22 years of service.

“I will continue to support Bestech during the transition period and help Ani to settle into the role,” Bhasin said.

“After that, I will remain as a member of the board and continue to provide strategic advice. I am excited to be part of this new phase of Bestech Australia’s journey.”

Bestech said Bhasin’s contributions have positioned the company as a market leader in the test and measurement and technical education industry.
