CBH Resources Endeavour Mine in NSW has increased its production by 33% on the previous quarter, according to the company’s latest quarterly report.
CBH released its quarterly report to 31 March 2009 yesterday with surprising results.
The miner recorded an increase in the production of zinc and lead, with the two resources at 123% and 113% of budget respectively.
CBH’s average cash costs of production for the quarter were significantly lower at US57.3 c/lb as major operational changes implemented in 2008 continue to generate sustainable operational efficiency improvements and cost savings.
“If market conditions improve, the company will accelerate planning efforts to return production at Endeavor to a higher level,” the report said.
The company told the Australian Securities Exchange in March that it was in talks with several companies in relation to a number of financing and investment opportunities.
At current all talks are still underway and are not advanced enough to warrant disclosure, the report said.
