29Metals has reported new drilling results at its Golden Grove operations in Western Australia, highlighting continued growth potential at the Oizon deposit within the Gossan Hill project.
In a statement, the company said both resource extension and resource conversion drilling has confirmed further high-grade mineralisation, reinforcing Oizon’s role as a key emerging ore source for the operation.
The latest results build on the 2025 program, which previously indicated that Oizon and Hougoumont Extended form part of a larger, connected mineralised system at depth.
Among the standout intercepts reported was a zone of high-grade copper, gold and silver, returning 2.2m at 5.1 per cent copper, 17.7 grams per tonne (g/t) gold and 126 g/t silver from 402.4m.
Additional copper-focused results included 13.7m at 1.6 per cent copper from 347.6m, including a higher-grade interval of 4.8m at 2.4 per cent copper.
The program also delivered strong zinc results, returning as high as 21.7 per cent zinc in some areas of drilling.
At the Amity area, drilling also intersected high-grade mineralisation, including 1.3m at 24.3 per cent zinc with strong silver and lead values, further supporting the broader resource potential across Golden Grove.
29Metals said development of the Oizon orebody is progressing in line with schedule, with first ore expected by the end of 2026. The company added that Oizon is expected to improve mine plan flexibility at Golden Grove as it comes into production, with the potential for shared infrastructure to support future cost efficiencies as mining expands deeper into the system.
“As an additional fresh ore source, Oizon is expected to enhance mine plan flexibility at Golden Grove, with development to the orebody progressing to plan and first ore expected by the end of 2026,” chief executive officer James Palmer said.
Palmer also noted the results reinforce Oizon’s importance as a new ore source that will support long-term production.
